Frequently Asked Questions

Detailed guidance on uploading syllabi, our human-in-the-loop editorial standards, delivery guarantees, and file privacy.

Course Materials & Uploads

3 questions

What course materials should I upload?

At minimum, upload your syllabus and upcoming exam scope or review sheet. To make your guide exceptionally complete and tailored, you can also include lecture slide decks, assigned reading chapters or textbook PDFs, problem sets, and previous practice exams. We cross-reference everything you provide to match your professor's exact notation, theorem conventions, and grading emphasis.

Do I need to upload an entire textbook?

No. If you have the textbook PDF or specific assigned chapter readings, you can upload them. If not, your syllabus reading schedule, chapter lists, and lecture slide decks are often more than enough for our editors to identify the exact curriculum and theorem conventions. For every course you list, please provide the textbook title so we match the correct edition.

What is the difference between the Exam Study Guide and Full Class Guide?

Exam Study Guide ($30) covers a single exam's scope — ideal for one upcoming midterm or final. Full Class Guide ($50) covers the entire course — every unit and exam — for comprehensive end-to-end review.

Turnaround & Delivery

2 questions

How quickly will I receive my study guide?

Choose your turnaround at checkout: Standard is free and delivers within 48 hours; 24-hour Express adds $50 and delivers within 24 hours. Turnaround begins the moment payment is confirmed and your core course materials are submitted.

Are turnaround fees added on top of the tier price?

Yes. Your total is the base tier plus the selected turnaround surcharge: for example an Exam Study Guide ($30) + 24-hour Express (+$50) = $80 total. Standard 48-hour delivery has no extra fee.

Editorial Quality & Methods

2 questions

How are the study guides produced?

Every CourseCrafter study guide is constructed through a rigorous human-in-the-loop editorial process. Subject editors structure the syllabus scope, synthesize complex derivations, construct visual review diagrams, verify worked step-by-step solutions, and perform full quality assurance before packaging into your deliverable PDF.

Is this just a generic summary of the subject?

No. Generic flashcard decks and summaries miss the specific definitions, variables, testable frameworks, and textbook conventions your professor grades on. CourseCrafter creates an authentic, custom learning system built exclusively around your specific section's syllabus, assigned homework, and exam blueprint.

Integrity, Privacy & Refunds

3 questions

How does CourseCrafter fit with academic integrity?

CourseCrafter produces comprehensive, bespoke study and synthesis materials designed to help you master challenging course concepts and practice effectively. We do not complete live exams, take-home graded assignments, or write papers. All guides are educational review companions meant to accelerate deep understanding.

What happens to the course files I upload?

Your uploaded syllabi, lecture notes, and materials are stored in secure, private storage solely to produce your study guide. We do not sell your course materials, publish them to public repositories, or share them with unauthorized third parties.

What is your refund and satisfaction policy?

If we cannot support your course due to incomplete materials or unsupported technical formats, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund. If your guide contains an error or misses a syllabus unit specified in your order, our editorial team provides expedited revisions.
